You can end the hike in Nocelle by taking a bus to Positano. Going down has its problems ..if your knees are at all dicky and you take the 'short cut' which seemed like 1500 steps. This is the most popular hike to do along the Amalfi Coast and it is famous for its jaw-dropping views over Positano and the Sorrento peninsula.
